Collaborations

Tango Spleen collaborates with other artists in dance and Tango projects, as well as in other music genres.

TANGO ALVAREZ

Tango Spleen Orquesta is chosen for performing with the celebrated tenor Marcelo Alvarez in a show where the tango repertoire meets the expressivity of opera singing. First presented in 2014 at the Novaya Opera Theatre in Moscow within the program “World opera stars”, the show has gained enthusiastic success from the public and critics: “Young virtuosos create true magic on stage!”

The creative union between Marcelo Alvarez and the Tango Spleen Orquesta is the essence of craftmanship, talent and ecstasy. The music is so alive, vibrant and natural that the sense of time and space is lost. A charming and expressive voice along with violin, viola, cello, doublebass, bandoneon (a German harmonica with a great Argentinian destiny) and piano which have a hypnotic power that seduces the listener.

Created by the pianist Mariano Speranza, Tango Spleen Orquesta defines its music concept in the tango genre. Young virtuosos create true magic on stage!” – Anna Peshkov, 2014

“A concert that the public will remember for a long time” – Maya Dinov, 2014
